Celebrating Connection & Growth: The Weird Ones Community is Thriving
Relationshipsâromantic, platonic, or professionalâcan feel like a puzzle with missing pieces for The Weird Ones. We think in nonlinear ways, process emotions at a deeper level, and often crave connection yet need solitude to recharge. The world, with its social norms and unspoken rules, often makes us feel like we're playing a game without knowing the rules.

Wonderful Weirdling,
Our weekly event has become a true hub for connection, and last week was an all-time high with 27 participants joining our Zoom call! It was our monthly Bragging Time, one of our most energizing traditions. Thereâs something powerful about hearing people share their winsâfrom the small victories of simply getting out of bed in the morning to the massive achievements like publishing books. Every brag, big or small, carries a story of resilience, creativity, and transformation. You can listen to the summary below.
If you havenât attended one of our events yet, I truly hope to see you there. You can choose to simply listen in, camera off and mic muted, or jump in as an active speakerâwhatever feels right for you.
But one thing is certain: itâs almost impossible to leave without feeling a surge of energy, fresh insights, and a deep gratitude for being part of this extraordinary community.
This is an open event for the publicâa chance to connect with new Weirdlings you may not have met yet, but already feel like you belong with.
So please take the next step and join us this week! Details are below, and the topic emerged organically from last weekâs event.
A Growing Hub for The Weird Ones
Weâre also celebrating another milestoneâour new platform has surpassed 100 members! And itâs growing and evolving every day. This isnât just another social media spaceâitâs a hub where we grow, learn, and connect without distractions, without unnecessary posting, and algorithms dictating our experience. Itâs liberating.
Weâve also added Energy Surfing as a free resource. It is one of the most effective processes for swiftly navigating lifeâs changes and decisions. This method can be used repeatedly, gaining deeper insights each time. Iâm incredibly grateful to have rediscovered it and applied it to my journeyâitâs no exaggeration to say there would be no Web of Weird without it.

Now, On to This Weekâs Event: The Weird Ones & Relationships
This week, weâre diving into a topic that emerged from last weekâs conversationârelationships. Because as Weird Ones, connection often looks different for us.
The Paradox of Connection & Solitude
Many Weird Ones experience a contradiction: we long for deep, meaningful relationships but also need vast amounts of alone time. This isnât about being antisocialâitâs about preservation. When your brain constantly processes at a high level, downtime isnât just a luxury; itâs a necessity. Yet, society often misinterprets this.
Ever been told youâre "too distant" or "too intense"? Do you need to socialize more, even when you feel drained by surface-level interactions?
Meaningful connection doesnât come from forcing yourself into environments that donât resonate with youâit comes from understanding how you connect best.
QUIZ TIME
Are You an Achiever or an Avoider in Relationships?
Beyond personality, our core motivations shape how we communicate and build relationships. Most people fall into two main categories:
đĽ Achievers: Thrive on reward and excitement
- Love being first, unique, and innovative
- Are naturally risk-takers in relationships
- Seek flexibility and creative solutions to problems
- Ask deep, exploratory questions
đ Avoiders: Operate from caution and preservation
- Value stability and predictability
- Carefully analyze before making decisions
- Avoid conflict and prefer peaceful interactions
- Are highly aware of consequences before taking action
Knowing whether you lean toward being an Achiever or Avoider can drastically improve how you connect with others. It helps you recognize communication patterns, navigate differences, and build relationships that honor who you truly are.
đ BONUS for platform members: đ
Two WeirdNavigiator Prompts that cover your unique communication style! You'll receive personalized tips and strategies based on your results on navigating relationships and improving communication with both Achievers and Avoiders.
