Celebrating Connection & Growth: The Weird Ones Community is Thriving

Mar 12, 2025
Connect

Relationships—romantic, platonic, or professional—can feel like a puzzle with missing pieces for The Weird Ones. We think in nonlinear ways, process emotions at a deeper level, and often crave connection yet need solitude to recharge. The world, with its social norms and unspoken rules, often makes us feel like we're playing a game without knowing the rules.

Wonderful Weirdling,

Our weekly event has become a true hub for connection, and last week was an all-time high with 27 participants joining our Zoom call! It was our monthly Bragging Time, one of our most energizing traditions. There’s something powerful about hearing people share their wins—from the small victories of simply getting out of bed in the morning to the massive achievements like publishing books. Every brag, big or small, carries a story of resilience, creativity, and transformation. You can listen to the summary below.

If you haven’t attended one of our events yet, I truly hope to see you there. You can choose to simply listen in, camera off and mic muted, or jump in as an active speaker—whatever feels right for you.

But one thing is certain: it’s almost impossible to leave without feeling a surge of energy, fresh insights, and a deep gratitude for being part of this extraordinary community.

This is an open event for the public—a chance to connect with new Weirdlings you may not have met yet, but already feel like you belong with.

So please take the next step and join us this week! Details are below, and the topic emerged organically from last week’s event.

A Growing Hub for The Weird Ones

We’re also celebrating another milestone—our new platform has surpassed 100 members! And it’s growing and evolving every day. This isn’t just another social media space—it’s a hub where we grow, learn, and connect without distractions, without unnecessary posting, and algorithms dictating our experience. It’s liberating.

We’ve also added Energy Surfing as a free resource. It is one of the most effective processes for swiftly navigating life’s changes and decisions. This method can be used repeatedly, gaining deeper insights each time. I’m incredibly grateful to have rediscovered it and applied it to my journey—it’s no exaggeration to say there would be no Web of Weird without it.

Now, On to This Week’s Event: The Weird Ones & Relationships

This week, we’re diving into a topic that emerged from last week’s conversation—relationships. Because as Weird Ones, connection often looks different for us.

The Paradox of Connection & Solitude

Many Weird Ones experience a contradiction: we long for deep, meaningful relationships but also need vast amounts of alone time. This isn’t about being antisocial—it’s about preservation. When your brain constantly processes at a high level, downtime isn’t just a luxury; it’s a necessity. Yet, society often misinterprets this.

Ever been told you’re "too distant" or "too intense"? Do you need to socialize more, even when you feel drained by surface-level interactions?

Meaningful connection doesn’t come from forcing yourself into environments that don’t resonate with you—it comes from understanding how you connect best.

QUIZ TIME

Are You an Achiever or an Avoider in Relationships?

Beyond personality, our core motivations shape how we communicate and build relationships. Most people fall into two main categories:

🔥 Achievers: Thrive on reward and excitement

  • Love being first, unique, and innovative
  • Are naturally risk-takers in relationships
  • Seek flexibility and creative solutions to problems
  • Ask deep, exploratory questions

🛑 Avoiders: Operate from caution and preservation

  • Value stability and predictability
  • Carefully analyze before making decisions
  • Avoid conflict and prefer peaceful interactions
  • Are highly aware of consequences before taking action

Knowing whether you lean toward being an Achiever or Avoider can drastically improve how you connect with others. It helps you recognize communication patterns, navigate differences, and build relationships that honor who you truly are.

Invitation to this week's event

THURSDAY, MARCH 13,  @11:00 PST

🔮 The Weird Ones & Relationships: Love, Connection & the Challenge of Being Understood 💡

Relationships—whether romantic, platonic, or professional—can be a minefield for The Weird Ones. We think differently, process emotions uniquely, and often find ourselves misunderstood in a world that operates on unwritten rules we never agreed to.

💔 Have you ever been told you’re “too much” or “too intense” in relationships?

🤔 Do you struggle to find connections that truly get you?

🚀 Or maybe you’re thriving in relationships, but the world keeps telling you that your way isn’t the “right” way?

This event is about exploring the complexities of connection for those who don’t fit the mold. We’ll discuss communication struggles, emotional depth, navigating neurotypical expectations, and building relationships that truly support who we are.

Expect real talk, insights from fellow Weird Ones, and a space where you don’t have to filter yourself.

Last Week's Event Summary

Bragging Time with The Weird Ones #9 | Celebrating  Authenticity

Bragging Time with The Weird Ones - Celebrating Neurodiversity and Authenticity

This week's 'Bragging Time with The Weird Ones' episode was a space for extraordinary self-expression, courage, and authenticity. It's about recognizing growth, celebrating progress, and inspiring others.

The stories ranged from a coach building a business with brutal feedback, to a couple married for 56 years sharing their secret to genuine connection, and individuals achieving milestones like publishing books and reclaiming abilities.

We celebrated neurodivergent brilliance, from creating communities and pioneering ideas to mastering personal finance and harnessing AI. It highlighted the unique advantages of neurodiversity and the importance of self-recognition.

The event culminated in a reminder that every achievement adds to a larger, compelling picture of success. Join 'The Weird Ones' every last Thursday of the month to celebrate individuality and collective growth.

The Imperial Blueprint — and the Duck Pond in our head
In this edition of LifeSpider™ News, you’ll see how “The Imperial Blueprint” gets installed—when belonging becomes conditional and your nervous system learns to self‑edit into a duck-shaped life—so you can name the pattern, stop outsourcing your authority, and come back to sovereignty.     Welcome, Wyrdling   There’s a pattern I keep seeing. You Have an Irreplaceable Skill. Do You Know What It Is?
AI can hold space, mirror you back, and find patterns you'd miss. So the old question is over. This issue is about the one that replaced it: what makes you irreplaceable? A prompt, a video, survey data from The Weird Ones, and a live event — all pointing at the same answer.         This is about you,    Something shifted this year. Not loudly. But if you were paying attention, you felt it. T...
Are You Performing Depth — or Building It?
This edition urges moving beyond agenda‑driven coaching, emphasizing depth, clarity, and personal evolution as the essential skills that AI cannot automate. AI is a tool, but true irreplaceability comes from clean presence and earned perception achieved through inner work.       Hi, {{ first_name }}!   For years, the conversation about AI has sounded like this: "Will AI replace humans?"
