What's Waiting in Your Zip Files

Two rescued birds changed my last two weeks—and reminded me that unfinished ideas aren’t dead. They’re waiting for the right conditions to open.

Yesterday's newsletter was about zip files — ideas preserved and waiting. This is the one that got interrupted by life arriving faster than I could write about it.

I never sent last week's newsletter.

Something happened instead.

Two creatures arrived — uninvited, urgent, completely unscheduled — and put me on hold for two weeks. No social media. No writing. No publishing. Just presence.

Mossy came first. A little red crossbill who had somehow ended up needing a bird mother. I fed her mashed food. I gave her space to practise flying. I converted her onto seeds. I let her out to learn from other crossbills, not knowing if she'd come back.

The morning she left, I didn't expect to see her again.

Then Misty arrived in the same window of time — a tiny chicken with a broken leg and a broken wing. The vet was clear: euthanasia would be the kindest thing. I refused. For two weeks, Mossy kept Misty company. They had loud conversations on the car ride to the horses. Mossy sat with her. Mossy comforted her in the way only another creature can — not by fixing, just by being there.

Misty fought. And won.

And then one morning, I called Mossy's name.

She landed on my head.

The answer to a five-year-old girl who once stood in the cold winter with birdseed on her head, waiting to see if a bird would trust her. The memory and the moment collapsed into the same second. The connection was complete.

This happened at the exact moment I was setting up two AI team members to take over roles I had carried alone for years. The Evolutionary Business framework for LifeSpider™ was becoming real. New structure was arriving. And I disappeared — not into rest, not into crisis — into something that had no name until now.

I was living my Avatar Life Blueprint.

Not studying it. Not teaching it. Not explaining what it means to embody passion as a living frequency.

Just being it. Fully. With a crossbill on my head and a chicken who refused to die.

The AI held the work. I held the birds.

That is the new paradigm — not a philosophy, not a future promise. It's what becomes possible when the right architecture is in place and you can finally follow the pull of pure aliveness without the whole machine stopping.

My Hummingbird Epithet says the greater power comes from stillness, integration, and conscious pauses. It also says: it pollinates the future — small actions create unseen transformations.

Two weeks. Two creatures. One girl with birdseed on her head, still alive inside me.

I don't know what Misty's recovery or Mossy's return will become. But I know the LifeSpider™ collected it. Filed it. It's in a zip file now, waiting.

The Weird Ones know this feeling. You've been there — pulled off course by something that had no business being important, and yet it was the most important thing. Not a detour. A transmission.

This is what Avatar Life looks like when it's lived, not studied.

If something in this story landed in you — if you recognized the pull of pure aliveness, the moment when the right architecture finally lets you disappear into presence — that's your LifeSpider™ telling you something.

Every Weird One has their own Blueprint. Their own mission. Their own Avatar. If yours is waiting to be activated, this is the door. If you already have activated yours, it might be time for an upgrade.

THE WEIRD EVENTS ON A REWIRING BREAK

We're in the middle of rewiring our Weird brains as we shift the direction of our community. This transition isn't just cosmetic — it's designed to open space for fresh inspiration in the near future.

We'll miss gathering with you this week, but this pause is intentional. We're tuning the signal so the next phase lands with more clarity, more resonance, and more Weird magic.

In the meantime, this is a perfect moment to catch up on past events â€” there's so much wisdom, humor, and insight waiting to be rediscovered and digested.

And when you've watched or revisited something that sparks a thought, a question, or a ripple in your Weird system, share it with us: either by commenting on this newsletter or joining our LinkedIn group to continue the conversation.

If you have an idea or wish for what you'd love to see next (or what you want changed), please send me a message — or drop it in the comment field below.

Stay Weird, and stay open to what's unfolding next.

The Imperial Blueprint — and the Duck Pond in our head
In this edition of LifeSpider™ News, you’ll see how “The Imperial Blueprint” gets installed—when belonging becomes conditional and your nervous system learns to self‑edit into a duck-shaped life—so you can name the pattern, stop outsourcing your authority, and come back to sovereignty.     Welcome, Wyrdling   There’s a pattern I keep seeing. In institutions. In movements. In a “self-improvem...
You Have an Irreplaceable Skill. Do You Know What It Is?
AI can hold space, mirror you back, and find patterns you'd miss. So the old question is over. This issue is about the one that replaced it: what makes you irreplaceable? A prompt, a video, survey data from The Weird Ones, and a live event — all pointing at the same answer.         This is about you,    Something shifted this year. Not loudly. But if you were paying attention, you felt it. T...
